Opinel Round tipped safety Knife

Opinel knives were created in 1890.
These Opinel knives have stainless steel blades by Swedish steel maker Sandvik.
This round-tipped safety knife is ideal for the younger person as a first knife, allowing children to learn how to carve wood under adult supervision. Because of its round tip and double safety ring feature "VIROBLOC", a locking ring which locks the blade open or closed as required. It is great for preventing blades closing upon vulnerable fingers.
