Gransfors Bruks mini Hatchet

Made in Sweden by the axe and knife smith at Gransfors, the mini hatchet can be used as an axe and a knife.
Historically, in Europe, it was common to carry a belt axe - a valuable tool and weapon which was also perceived as a symbol of status.
Our favourite mini belt hatchet is a functional new design made from hand forged high carbon steel which involves a high degree of skill in the manufacturing process. The mini belt hatchet is perfect on any camping trip or to use at home for splitting kindling and also for carving and sculpting.
The mini hatchet has a 10- 1/2'' hickory handle and 2-1/2'' face giving perfect balance.
